Review: Sherlock Holmes (2009)
Tonight I went to the movies to see Sherlock Holmes, directed by Guy Ritchie and with Robert Downey Jr. (yes, IronMan!) as Sherlock Holmes. The movie goes on pretty well from the first sequence, where we get pretty much of what the plot will be about. Acting is pretty well done by both Sherlock and Watson, still, some scenes from the other characters don’t look as well. As for the visuals, I can tell camera direction was great, giving London that “dark” look making a mysterious effect for the scenes where needed, music is pretty well done too.
The movie’s pretty good, the plot goes kinda fast, but still it didn’t get me as other movies like that. There are a couple parts that become way too obvious and predictable.
I like it, but still, i don’t consider it a must.
