I <3 Super Mario Galaxy
I just found this really cool trailer (fanmade, of course) of Super Mario Galaxy. Maybe it’s been some time since it was released, but isn’t awesome? (may make hardcore gamers cry a little). Good Mario times.

I just saw Lupe Fiasco’s new video for Solar Midnight (an iTunes Exclusive from the New Moon soundtrack) and i think it’s awesome. The visuals and everything look great, and the song’s different from stuff we’ve heard before from Lupe. Everything is cool (excluding those New Moon scenes), but we see a totally different Lupe, a lot more rock influenced and I really like it. Check it out by yourselves and let me know what you think of it. Rock + Lupe = AWESOME.
We all love the Muppets. We all love Queen. What happens when u get both in a crazy, funny muppet-singing video? This has definitely become one of my favorite Muppet songs of all times.
Finally got to play New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Wii and I gotta say it’s an amazing experience. As fun and entertaining yet as cool as the Nintendo Wii, New Super Mario Bros. has everything to be the next Wii Classic.
If you remember Super Mario Bros. 3, the first Mario game with a world map, you’ll feel really familiar with the way New Super Mario Bros. works. People from Nintendo really made an effort in developing brand new levels for this game, it’s probably the best 2D Mario game from the latest years, still not quite as good as Super Mario Bros. 3. Level design goes from really simple and classic to really hard like back in the old Mario days, so it can get really challenging, with smart, planned ninja moves. I like the whole new way the game goes in 2D with brand new 3D graphics, just as in New Super Mario Bros. for DS but better. There are new suits for Mario, some of them not as original as I would’ve expected but must of them bring that special something in the game as in previous Mario titles.
The multiplayer game is an important part of this title as it’s funnier and better to play with other 3 friends. You get to play as Mario, Luigi and 2 generic, same and boring Toads (nice on this one Nintendo). I would’ve expected some really original design for the characters but still, it’s really fun, still it can sometimes get a little frustrating if your party is not as good as you expected.
Another important addition to the game is the Super Guide, in which, after losing 8 lives in the same level, you can activate it and a computer controlled Luigi will come up to show you the way. It can look really easy, but for some levels, it’s not, so it all depends on what you get to see, what you remember and how good your reflexes and timing are. There are some Hint Movies too so you get to find secrets and stars and coins in the levels, which you can buy with star coins.
A disappointing something is Yoshi, as he only comes on a couple levels, still totally fun. The game’s music is amazing, not as good as Super Mario Galaxy’s, but still a nostalgic collection of classic sounds.
Classic, challenging, redesigned and new, Super Mario Bros. Wii is a game that must be in your game library if you got a Wii.
Lady GaGa’s new video "Bad Romance" came out this week and I think it’s awesome. Lady GaGa’s The Fame Monster is coming out on November 27th everywhere, I’ve heard to some of the tracks from her new EP and it sounds great. Check out her new video:
So 09.09.09 came and I got The Beatles: Rock Band. Due to some time (and money) problems I couldn’t pick up my copy until yesterday. So here’s my review on the game.
The Beatles: Rock Band is the first game to be based on probably one of the most popular bands of all times, The Beatles. The game’s presentation by itself is amazing. The artwork’s based on “dreamscape” sequences, so they’re totally colorful. They look great. The game’s interface is easier and more usable than any of the other Rock Band titles.
The Beatles look better than ever. As you go through the story mode, you begin playing their first songs at The Cavern and The Ed Sullivan Show and their last songs on the roof of Abbey Road. The game includes 45 songs and according to Harmonix, there’s more to come, like the full release of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Abbey Road, as for now, “All You Need Is Love” is available exclusively on XBOXLive (it’ll be released later for the PS3 and Wii). One of my favorite songs from the game (so far) is “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band/With A Little Help From My Friends”, as it’s both songs together and the art of it looks just amazing, like in the Yellow Submarine movie (kind of). Important and iconic elements from other songs are also kept, like the costumes from “I Am The Walrus” and the Sgt. Pepper’s uniforms, which gives the game a special touch.
The Beatles: Rock Band is a Beatles experience like no other. Hardcore Beatlemaniacs (like me) will be completely fascinated by the graphic work done and all details from The Beatles’ career, as well as the fully remastered songs (also available now as a remastered collection). Also new Beatles fans will totally get into the game, as most of the Beatles’ favorites and iconic songs are featured. It’s a game that can bring homes together (last night, my mom was singing with my bro and I as we were on the guitars). It also reminds us of The Beatles’ biggest teaching “All You Need Is Love”. It’s a game you MUST play if you’re into the whole musical game thing or if you’re a fan. THE BEATLES ARE ALIVE!

As many of you may already know, Demi Lovato’s new album “Here We Go Again” came out today. I’m a huge fan of her previous album “Don’t Forget” and I gotta say “Here We Go Again” is a really good one, her music is more mature and it feels a little more like rock.
I’m not gonna do a track-by-track review of the album, most songs are really good, the only one that doesn’t really fit in this is the last one “So Far So Great”, which is the theme for Disney Channel’s “Sonny With A Chance”, I don’t know why they got that song into this album, but ok, just for the fans. Other than that “Here We Go Again”, “Falling Over Me” and “Catch Me” are great songs, but my favorite one is “Remember December”. Live video right here:
So that’s what i think so far about the new album, if you liked “Don’t Forget” run to your closest music retailer and get Demi Lovato’s “Here We Go Again”.
John Legend gave a concert in Mexico City 2 days ago, for the benefit of an association called Casa de la Amistad, A.C., they help Mexican children and teenagers who suffer from cancer by giving them medicine, moral and psychologic support, education and a place to stay at.
I was really lucky to be there, the tickets sold out a couple days after the concert was announced and it was limited to around 400 people. As many of you may know, I’m a huge John Legend fan. I do have all of his records, DVDs, etc. and know the lyrics to most of his songs. I HAD TO BE THERE.
The concert’s experience was just fantastic. It was a really short set, only 6 songs and Noel Schajris (who was part of a Mexican/Colombian duet called “Sin Bandera”) also performed.
The setlist was like this:
As a special note, it was the first time No Importa was performed live, as it’ll be featured in Noel’s upcoming debut album as a solo artist. As the hardcore John Legend fan I am, I had to film the whole thing. So here are the videos for you to watch the whole concert. Don’t forget to rate them and feel free to share all of them. It was 1966. Two years before Walt Disney’s death. He had a master plan for Florida Project. As we know, he had gotten a huge amount of land in Florida, that’s actually twice the size of Manhattan, and he was creating a new project around there. He was making plans for EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community Of The Future, which was kind of a big deal as it looked like an awesome project… which turned out to be another theme park after he died… So check out the video, I think it’s pretty awesome.
